"Idro" Ecomuseo di Ridracoli

The "Idro" Ecomuseo di Ridracoli, near Bagno di Romagna, is split between a main building and several themed sections that spread around the area of the Diga di Ridracoli. The main building, seven rooms, is an interactive museum devoted to the impact of water on our lives and on the evolution of the world.

Good to know

• Inside Idro there are a number of hands-on experiments, ideal for children too.
• During the visit you can watch documentaries and video screenings telling the story of the wildlife of the Bidente valley, the Diga di Ridracoli, the origin of life, water conservation, and much more besides.
• Room 5, "Water and the origin of life", is worth a longer stop: a fine documentary explains how water appeared on the planet and how it shaped the evolution of life.
• The same ticket also gives access to the Diga di Ridracoli.
