Cesenatico
Cesenatico is a town with a strong seafaring identity, facing the Adriatic Sea. Its canal harbour was built in the sixteenth century to an original design by Leonardo da Vinci, and was meant to link the town to Cesena. Trade and work tied to the sea shaped the old village, which today is also a well known destination on the Romagna coast. It is particularly loved by cyclists and cycle tourists, for country that is ideal to explore by bike and for events of international standing such as the Nove Colli.
