Riccione is one of the main destinations on the Romagna coast. Famous for the clubs on the hillside and for entertainment on the beach, it is home to some of the best known theme parks in Italy, Aquafan and Oltremare. Riccione sits in a strategic position between Rimini and Cattolica, close to inland country rich in history, fortified villages and a fine tradition of food and wine. More and more visitors choose it out of season as well, above all at Christmas, when the town turns into a snowbound village.
