Parco Naturale del Monte San Bartolo

The Monte San Bartolo regional nature park is a protected area in the Marche. It runs along the Adriatic coast through the towns of Gabicce Mare, Casteldimezzo, Fiorenzuola di Focara, Santa Marina and Pesaro, taking in both high cliff coastline and inland countryside.

The Monte San Bartolo regional nature park is a nature reserve in the Marche. It runs along the Adriatic coast through the towns of Gabicce Mare, Casteldimezzo, Fiorenzuola di Focara, Santa Marina and Pesaro. In terms of landscape, the Park is made up of a long stretch of high coastline (almost entirely live cliff face) looking out to sea, together with an inland stretch of rural countryside. This variety is reflected in its flora and fauna, ranging from birds and reptiles to foxes, porcupines and weasels.
