Punta Marina Terme

A hamlet of the town of Ravenna, Punta Marina Terme is a resort among the Ravenna lidos, marked by a wide shore lined with pine woods and by the presence of the Terme di Punta Marina thermal centre.

Punta Marina Terme

A resort given over to seaside holidays, it offers a quiet setting well supplied with services and places to stay. As the name suggests, the identity of this small town is tied to the work of the thermal establishment: a well known thalassotherapy centre since the 1960s, today it is a modern facility using thermal water drawn from wells 40 to 60 metres deep, with excellent curative properties, alongside a spa and wellbeing centre.

The area of Punta Marina Terme holds some traces of the Second World War: the Germans built several bunkers to defend against attack from the sea, still well preserved today, along with concrete barriers known as "dragon’s teeth", visible in the pine wood.
