Museo Agostino Venanzio Reali
The Museo Agostino Venanzio Reali is dedicated to the Capuchin friar, poet and versatile artist from Montetiffi, a hamlet of Sogliano al Rubicone. The collection comprises around a hundred works, mostly on sacred themes, created by the friar over the course of his life: pieces in terracotta and clay, drawings and paintings.
Good to know
- The museum has been open since 2004 and is housed in the canonry of the Abbazia San Leonardo di Montetiffi.
- The canonry's cellar houses a permanent exhibition dedicated to the production of piadina baking griddles, the famous teglie di Montetiffi, known throughout Romagna.
