Museo della Centuriazione

The Museo della Centuriazione in Cesena is based on ancient Roman centuriation, a system for organising land according to its productive, religious and cosmological functions.

The Museo della Centuriazione in Cesena is one of the most unusual museums in Italy, based on ancient Roman centuriation, a system for organising land according to its productive, religious and cosmological functions. This system has been recreated and applied to a section of the countryside around Cesena, stretching from the town centre out into the countryside, which can be explored on foot or by bicycle. During the organised walks, much loved by residents and tourists alike, visitors may come across strange characters in Roman dress.

Accessibility statement

Romagna.net should be usable by anyone, with any tool: keyboard, screen reader, magnification, phone. This page says where we actually stand, without rounding up.

Conformance status

The site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Conformance is partial: the checks made so far cover the code and the colours, and they do not replace testing with people who rely on assistive technology. Known limits are listed below.

How this statement was prepared

Self-assessment by the people who build the site, last updated on 1 September 2026. This is not the statement that the Italian AgID guidelines require of public bodies, which Romagna.net is not: it is a commitment we make anyway.
