Museo Musicalia

A museum of mechanical music where every object on display can actually play, tracing 500 years of the history of music.

Musicalia is a museum of mechanical music where every object on display can actually play. The Museum is in Cesena, traces 500 years of music and is laid out in 7 rooms: a mid-nineteenth-century sitting room, a sound recording room, street organs, the Sala della Regina Margherita, the lobby of a grand hotel, a fairground organ room, and the Sala del Tamburo di guerra di Leonardo Da Vinci. The last of these, in particular, houses a musical machine designed by Leonardo himself.

Accessibility statement

Romagna.net should be usable by anyone, with any tool: keyboard, screen reader, magnification, phone. This page says where we actually stand, without rounding up.

Conformance status

The site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Conformance is partial: the checks made so far cover the code and the colours, and they do not replace testing with people who rely on assistive technology. Known limits are listed below.

How this statement was prepared

Self-assessment by the people who build the site, last updated on 1 September 2026. This is not the statement that the Italian AgID guidelines require of public bodies, which Romagna.net is not: it is a commitment we make anyway.
