Pinacoteca civica di Forlì
The Pinacoteca civica “Melozzo degli Ambrogi” in Forlì is spread across several collections in three different locations around the town.
The three sites hold works that survived the Napoleonic suppression, purchases made by the town, important private bequests (notably the Piancastelli bequest devoted to 16th-century Romagna art, held at Palazzo del Merenda) and the valuable Verzocchi collection (Palazzo Romagnoli), a series of works by well-known artists on the theme of work.
Finally, at the Complesso museale di San Domenico, 20 rooms are devoted to religious icons and other paintings.
