Savignano sul Rubicone

Savignano sul Rubicone lies halfway between the inland country and the sea. This small town went down in history because it was here, in 49 BC, that Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon and spoke the famous words the die is cast. The Roman bridge is one of the main sights, along with the old centre, the archaeological museum and the abbey of San Giovanni in Compito.
The town is made up of several hamlets, one of which is Savignano Mare, a seaside resort on the Romagna coast well suited to family holidays.

Accessibility statement

Romagna.net should be usable by anyone, with any tool: keyboard, screen reader, magnification, phone. This page says where we actually stand, without rounding up.

Conformance status

The site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Conformance is partial: the checks made so far cover the code and the colours, and they do not replace testing with people who rely on assistive technology. Known limits are listed below.

Reporting a problem

If a page will not let you do what you came for, write to info@romagna.net. Tell us the address of the page, what you were doing and which tool you use: a few lines are enough to show us where to look.

How this statement was prepared

Self-assessment by the people who build the site, last updated on 1 September 2026. This is not the statement that the Italian AgID guidelines require of public bodies, which Romagna.net is not: it is a commitment we make anyway.
