The Museo Naturalistico of the Onferno nature reserve is housed in the Pieve di Santa Colomba, within the territory of the Gemmano reserve. It displays a series of rocks and samples of different types of gypsum, along with a model of a gypsum molecule enlarged 3,500 times; two further sections gather information on the community of bats living in the cave and a series of panels describing the flora and fauna typical of the reserve.

Good to know

  • The Centro Visite stands close to the Grotte di Onferno, famous for hosting several colonies of bats. Visitors are advised to see the museum before heading into the caves.

Accessibility statement

Romagna.net should be usable by anyone, with any tool: keyboard, screen reader, magnification, phone. This page says where we actually stand, without rounding up.

Conformance status

The site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Conformance is partial: the checks made so far cover the code and the colours, and they do not replace testing with people who rely on assistive technology. Known limits are listed below.

How this statement was prepared

Self-assessment by the people who build the site, last updated on 1 September 2026. This is not the statement that the Italian AgID guidelines require of public bodies, which Romagna.net is not: it is a commitment we make anyway.
