Museo Italiano della Ghisa

The Museo Italiano della Ghisa is spread across two sites in Longiano: the Chiesetta Santa Maria delle Lacrime and the MIG premises at Neri spa. The Chiesetta di Santa Maria delle Lacrime, built in 1772, houses a collection of street lamps, including one from the O'Connell Bridge in Dublin and others from Turin, Bologna and Trieste. Alongside the lamps are fountains, mascherons and door knockers from old town gates. The MIG premises are an industrial space (a former paint shop) housing 19th-century street lamps, benches, fountains and other decorative urban features.
