Places to see

Piazza della Libertà

The heart of the Republic's political power, home to the Palazzo Pubblico and the Statue of Liberty, which holds a flag and the three towers of San Marino.

Piazza della Libertà is the main square of San Marino. It stands in the historic centre and is home to the Palazzo Pubblico and numerous other landmarks of historical and architectural interest; one side of the square, however, is completely open, offering a view across the whole landscape of the Montefeltro. At the centre of the square stands the Statua della Libertà, a white marble statue depicting a woman holding a flag in one hand and a crown bearing the "Tre Torri di San Marino" in the other. The square is used for open-air concerts and cultural events.

Conformance status

The site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Conformance is partial: the checks made so far cover the code and the colours, and they do not replace testing with people who rely on assistive technology. Known limits are listed below.

How this statement was prepared

Self-assessment by the people who build the site, last updated on 1 September 2026. This is not the statement that the Italian AgID guidelines require of public bodies, which Romagna.net is not: it is a commitment we make anyway.
