Museo di Stato di San Marino

The Museo di Stato is the leading museum of the Republic of San Marino. Housed in Palazzo Pergami Belluzzi, it holds around 5,000 items relating to the history and territory of San Marino. The collection is wide-ranging and varied, made up of works of art (paintings, sculptures and various objects), archaeological finds from the Early Middle Ages, coins and state medals, and Egyptian, Etruscan and Roman finds donated to the museum.
Among the most famous pieces are paintings and sculptures by Guercino.
