Museo della civiltà contadina e delle tradizioni

Casa di Fabrica is an eighteenth-century farmhouse, one of the oldest and most distinctive in San Marino. Since 2009 these rooms have been home to the Museo della civiltà contadina e delle tradizioni, with a rich collection of objects that tell the story of the Republic's rural life.
The museum recreates the rooms of an early twentieth-century farmhouse and preserves everyday objects, tools and equipment used in rural work.

Good to know

  • Casa di Fabrica is also home to the Consorzio Terra di San Marino, an organisation devoted to promoting local produce and the ties between the territory and its rural culture.
  • The museum is the first in the Republic of San Marino to be fully accessible, with tactile exhibits for all visitors with disabilities.
