Oltremare
Oltremare is the perfect place for nature and animal lovers: exhibition areas, shows and the story of how the world came to be, across 110,000 sq m of parkland.
Oltremare is a theme park devoted to nature and animals; it is set near Aquafan, in the hills above Riccione, and is known for its spaces, exhibits and shows involving animals. The park is divided into themed areas: Adventure Island, Pianeta Terra, Darwin (the rainforest), marine areas and natural areas.
Good to know
- Adventure Island: 4,000 sq m for children, themed around Ulysses.
- Pianeta Terra: a multimedia trail across 4 rooms tracing the evolution of the Earth.
- Darwin, the rainforest: visitors can walk beneath a dome recreating the habitat of the dinosaurs.
- Marine areas: dolphin lagoon, sharks, whales and other large sea creatures.
- Natural areas: devoted to animals of the sky and of the land.
- The park covers 110,000 sq m: 77,000 are green spaces and 24,000 are covered.
- Particularly popular are the dolphin and bird-of-prey shows and the pony rides for children.
