Aquafan
Big pools, thrilling water slides, music shows and Radio Deejay's summer season: Aquafan is the heart of Riccione's summer fun!
Aquafan is a water park covering 100,000 sq m. Set in the hills above Riccione, it opened in 1987 and has since expanded its range of attractions season after season, becoming one of the most famous parks in Italy. At Aquafan visitors can choose from classic pools to the most thrilling rides, such as The Black Hole, where you slide through the dark for 208 metres with a drop of almost 20. Three areas are also equipped for children, with shallow pools and slides designed to be safe and suitable for them.
Good to know
- The most famous pool at Aquafan is the Piscina Onde: 2,800 sq m, 3 metres deep, with artificially created waves announced by the sound of a bell. This is where the park's events and shows take place.
- Aquafan is the summer home of Radio Deejay. During the summer months, the station's main shows are broadcast live from Riccione.
- At night, Aquafan hosts major events, and since 2011 it has held some of the world's biggest foam parties.
