Borgo Petrella Guidi

A 13th-century hill village made up of a tower that served as a residence, a set of walls, service rooms and a cistern for collecting rainwater.

Borgo Petrella Guidi is a small fortified hill village 6 km from Sant'Agata Feltria. Dating from the 1200s, it consists of a tower that served as a residence, a set of walls (not very high), service areas (set along the sides of the enclosure) and a cistern for collecting rainwater. Today Borgo Petrella Guidi is characterised by tall stone houses, narrow alleys and workshops (mainly bakeries); of the old fortification, the entrance gate (a white stone arch) and the tower survive.
