Monte Fumaiolo
Monte Fumaiolo is a peak in the Forlì-Cesena Apennines. It stands on the territory of Verghereto, at Romagna's southern border, 1400 m above sea level. This area is subject to landscape protection and is very popular in both summer and winter for outdoor activities and snow sports. In summer in particular, the trails are ideal for hiking, mountain biking and horse riding. In winter, ski lifts and winter sports facilities are open, equipped for tubing, snowboarding and snowshoe walks.

- Monte Fumaiolo is famous for its beech woods, which can be explored on foot or by bike along well-marked trails.
- The Anello del Fumaiolo is a 5 km cross-country ski trail that skirts the sorgente del Tevere (source of the Tiber).
- To reach the source of the Tiber, you need to get close to the summit of Monte Fumaiolo, at 1268 m above sea level.
