Borgo Senatello
Borgo Senatello lies on the border of three regions: Marche, Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, a few kilometres from Monte Fumaiolo and the Balze di Verghereto. Its origins are very old, possibly pre-Romanesque, but today it still has the typical look of a 14th-century hill village of farmers, with stone houses and little else. One of the hill village's features is the view that opens onto the Senatello valley and the Valmarecchia; from here, paths and mule tracks lead off, suitable for walking or horse riding.
