Oratorio di San Rocco

The Oratorio di San Rocco is the oldest church in Gatteo. Built in the second half of the 14th century, it has a simple design: a brick-clad exterior, a wooden entrance door topped by a small rose window, a few other windows in the side walls and a sloping roof. Inside, meanwhile, are the famous Affreschi di San Rocco, a cycle of frescoes devoted to two outbreaks of plague that struck the town (1435-1436,  1458-1461).

Accessibility statement

Romagna.net should be usable by anyone, with any tool: keyboard, screen reader, magnification, phone. This page says where we actually stand, without rounding up.

Conformance status

The site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Conformance is partial: the checks made so far cover the code and the colours, and they do not replace testing with people who rely on assistive technology. Known limits are listed below.

How this statement was prepared

Self-assessment by the people who build the site, last updated on 1 September 2026. This is not the statement that the Italian AgID guidelines require of public bodies, which Romagna.net is not: it is a commitment we make anyway.
