Bosco dell’Albereto
The Bosco dell’Albereto lies along the valley of the river Marano, in Montescudo, part of the municipality of Montescudo Monte Colombo. It is one of the most unspoilt woodland areas near Rimini, preserving a habitat of flora and fauna that once covered the whole area and today survives only in this wood. Paths cross it among wild carrot, mallow, fern, wood violet, hawthorn, dog rose, elder, ash trees and Italian cypress poplars. A place much loved by nature lovers and those who enjoy woodland walks.

- It stands at an average of 250 m above sea level and covers an area of 25 hectares.
- Near the wood, visitors can see the Castello di Albereto, a fortified medieval hamlet.
