Montescudo - Monte Colombo

Montescudo - Monte Colombo is a town in the province of Rimini, formed in 2016 by the merger of Montescudo and Monte Colombo. Monte Colombo keeps the look of a small medieval village, with a fourteenth-century Malatesta castle and a fine civic tower of 1864. Montescudo has an old centre rebuilt more recently and some hamlets of historical interest. At Trarivi stands the Chiesa della Pace with the museum of the eastern Gothic Line; at Valliano an old Romanesque parish church is preserved, the oldest in the area; Albereto is a small castle with a view over the whole Romagna coast.

In the Montescudo area lies the Bosco di Albereto, 25 hectares of woodland that can be walked through.
"InMontescudo Montecolombo (opens in a new window)" is the town council app, with useful directions and tips for making the most of the area.

Accessibility statement

Romagna.net should be usable by anyone, with any tool: keyboard, screen reader, magnification, phone. This page says where we actually stand, without rounding up.

Conformance status

The site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Conformance is partial: the checks made so far cover the code and the colours, and they do not replace testing with people who rely on assistive technology. Known limits are listed below.

How this statement was prepared

Self-assessment by the people who build the site, last updated on 1 September 2026. This is not the statement that the Italian AgID guidelines require of public bodies, which Romagna.net is not: it is a commitment we make anyway.
