Santarcangelo di Romagna

It is one of the most distinctive villages inland from Rimini, famous for having given birth to many artists and historical figures, among them Pope Clement XIV and the poet Tonino Guerra. Santarcangelo di Romagna is a very well kept small town, home to characteristic taverns, wine bars and local craft shops inspired by the drawings of Tonino Guerra.
Since 1971 it has hosted the renowned Santarcangelo Festival, devoted to dance, the performing arts and European avant-garde theatre. Santarcangelo is a slow city and belongs to the international network of towns of good living.

How this statement was prepared

Self-assessment by the people who build the site, last updated on 1 September 2026. This is not the statement that the Italian AgID guidelines require of public bodies, which Romagna.net is not: it is a commitment we make anyway.
